In Dubai

It's 47 degrees and we are sweltering. Had a tour of the city today. Went to the aquarium. Home tomorrow. 

Malta

This is our last morning here. Mrs Wilkinson is very sad to be leaving but glad to be going home. I have enjoyed my travels. We fly to Dubai today and are there for two days. We will be back in Perth on Friday night. The time has gone very quickly but we have ll enjoyed the experience. See you soon. Manna xxxxxx

Last evening in Sliema Malta

Had a. Wonderful day today. We went to The Point Shopping Centre where all the brand names have their clothes. Then we went to Mrs Wilkinson's cousins house to have a look at what he is doing with the renovations. We went or a walk and found some other hoses that where significant in Mrs Wilkinson's early life. We even found the WW2 air raid shelters. I am sad we are leaving this lovely island and I think Mrs Wilkinson shed a few tears when she said goodbye to her cousins. It will also be nice to be coming back to Australia. Palazzo Paradisio

Spent the day today at the home of Marquis Scicluna Palazzo Paradisio! A lovely lunch and an awesome day.

North Of the Island

Had a good day driving to San Anton Gardens, Mosta and Mdina. Drove around St Paul's  Bay and had lunch at Il Torre. A beautiful day !

Here we are at marsaxlokk and ancient temple site. 

Trip around Malta

,Had an exciting day today went on a boat around the island and went to Comino Island. We had a swim and saw the Blue Grotto and Blue Lagoon. Tomorrow we are going to Rabat and Mdina the old capital and walled city. There is so much history here I can't keep up. Enjoy the rest of your holidays. Love Manna (and Mrs Wilkinson) xxx

Valletta

Caught the bus to Valletta this afternoon. It was lovely. This is me near a statue of the founder of Valletta. 

Sliema

Lunch with Mrs Wilkinson's cousins. Laurence is very funny!

St Gregory's Church Sliema Malta

Found the church that Mrs Wilkinson was baptised in a long time ago. I think she had a tear in her eye. Also found the street where she was but she couldn't remember the number. Pity.  I am loving the exploring, little shops and churches. 

In Malta

Here I am on the balcony of our apartment overlooking the Medittaranean Sea. Just beautiful.

Here I am at the Trevi Fountain. We threw some coins in for good luck.

Rome

At Hotel Universo Rome chilling out!

We are back in Rome and had a train ride on the bullet train - Venice to Rome in 3 hours!

Here we are back in Venice on bridge near the Continental Hotel. Love Venice with all the water taxis and water buses. Here I am near a beautiful gondola. See you soon. Xxx

Arrived in Split. Here I am about to board a little boat to go to lunch. We went to a restaurant here I am sitting on the water wheel.

At sea today and next port is Split in Croatia. We have a zoo in our cabin. Here I am with my towel friends.

We have been in a Turkey all day. We visited a place called Epheus which had ruins that were 2000 years old. Just amazing! We bought Turkish Delight and a woven bag. Here I am at the ruined city.
